Easyjet shares slump
Travel and tourism shares stagnated somewhat yesterday as London’s main equity index pushed ahead to a two-year high.
The FTSE 100 index added 28.9 points to end the day at 4608.4, while the FTSE 250 lost 1.4 points to close at 6276.5. The biggest move of the day was at Easyjet, which lost 4.5p to close at 139.5p.
