Easyjet signs deal with AirPlus

Saturday, 15 Aug, 2006 0

Business flights booked on the EasyJet website can now be paid for using the AirPlus Company Account.

It is the first time EasyJet flights can be booked by business travellers using a UATP lodged card online with the benefit of management information.

Previously, many business travellers had to book easyJet flights using their own personal credit or debit cards, claiming the flight back through their company’s expense procedure.

Alternatively, their TMC had to use its own credit card and charge the fare back to the client.

AirPlus International MD Spencer Hanlon said: “Our joint customers and business partners asked for this development, we have listened, and this announcement is the result.”

Over 30,000 companies use the AirPlus product range.

It is the preferred payment partner of seven airlines, including British Airways, Continental Airlines, and Lufthansa.
