‘Edutainment’ focus for revamped cruise website

Saturday, 08 Feb, 2007 0

Complete Cruise Solution is re-launching its Waves of Wisdom cruise training website for travel agents.

Games and interactive components have been added to give the site more of an “edutainment” feel, claimed CCA head of sales Giles Hawke.

“We’ve looked at feedback from agents and rewritten Waves of Wisdom to make it more exciting for them to learn,” he said.

“The online programme takes agents full-circle, from explaining the benefits of the cruise product, through to the booking process, ensuring they know how to tailor a cruise booking to the customer’s individual needs.”

The website will be continuously updated to include new sections and competitions.

Agents who register on the re-launched site can win prizes including places on CCS fam trips in 2007, fashionable new Samsung W810i mobile phones and CD vouchers.

The web-based tool gives agents the opportunity to learn more about selling P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Cunard and Ocean Village.

It also provides information to help sell cruise holidays generally, convert customers to cruising and dispel the key myths surrounding cruising.

To register, agents need to log on to www.completecruisesolution.com and select the ‘Training’ section.
