Emirates adding fourth A380 service to Bangkok
Gulf carrier Emirates will add a fourth daily A380 service on its fast expanding Dubai-Bangkok route later this year.
The airline will upgrade one of its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to the A380 superjumbo, adding an extra 3,570 seats per week to and from Bangkok.
The new deployment begins December 1, when Emirates will fly the A380 four times daily along with two existing B777 services.
"For business and leisure travellers, the Dubai-Bangkok route is a popular choice and this additional A380 service will be instrumental in helping us meet growing passenger demand," said Barry Brown, Emirates divisional senior vice president, commercial operations east
Emirates’ A380 carries 615 passengers including 58 lie-flat seats in business class.
