From October 27, Emirates will offer 278 seats per day on the Dubai-Budapest route, operating a wide-body A330-200 aircraft in a two-class configuration.

In another development, Emirates is offering mixed-class fares for sale until July 28, offering travel from Australia to Dubai in Business Class, then onto selected European destinations in Economy Class.

Eligible flights also permit a free stopover in Dubai.

Return mixed Business and Economy class fares from Australia begin from A$5,755 to Istanbul, A$5,773 to Barcelona, A$5,794 to Rome, A$5,883 to Paris and A$6,295 to London.

To take up the free stopover offer, travellers need to book an eligible Emirates-coded itinerary flight which includes outbound flights EK415 from Sydney, EK409 from Melbourne, EK433 from Brisbane and EK423 from Perth before July 31 to any point on the network beyond Dubai, in any class of travel.

The package includes transfers, a 36-hour UAE entry visa, and a 24-hour hotel stay including breakfast.
