Emirates, England’s big hitters take off for T20 World Cup
English cricket players, Phil Salt and Richard Gleeson along with Indian superstar, Rohit Sharma, have featured in Emirates’ latest advertising campaign,
The ads run during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
Emirates is the official partner of the T20, which has started off in Australia.
England’s Phil Salt and Richard Gleeson feature in three 10 second advertisements for Emirates’ “Lovers of Cricket” campaign.
Both play for Lancashire County Cricket Club, sponsored by Emirates, with the ads filmed at Lancashire’s Old Trafford ground..
Rohit is in three additional 10 second films created for the campaign.
All three spots convey the airline’s brand message – “Don’t just fly, fly better”.
During the month-long T20 tournament, Emirates’ ” will run on television in Australia, the UK, US, India, and Pakistan.
Emirates has been involved in cricket sponsorship for 20 years
In 2007, it became the official Airline and Global Partner of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The airline also sponsors the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, which will be held in India.
