Emirates flight forced to divert to Manchester
An Emirates flight with 489 passengers onboard was forced to divert to Manchester yesterday when one of them was taken ill.
Flight EK201 from Dubai was en-route to New York when the inflight medical emergency arose.
The airline said the sick passenger was assisted off the A380 at Manchester Airport to receive medical attention.
The aircraft was on the ground for more than two hours before refuelling and continuing to JFK.
