Emirates launches fly-to-shop special

Emirates is offering special airfares to Dubai for Perth travellers to coincide with this month’s Dubai Shopping Festival.

Fares start from AUD997 return in Economy Class and AUD4,989 in Business.

Booking for the special fares must be made before midnight on January18. Fares are valid for travel until March 15, 2013.

Passengers in Economy can travel with 30kg of checked baggage, while Business Class passengers may check 40kg.

The Dubai Shopping Festival ends on February 2.

And for a limited time, Emirates is offering agents a special additional commission on itineraries from Australia to Europe booked before February 3, 2013.

Business and First Class bookings with Emirates will earn 10% commission, while Economy and combination Business/Economy Class bookings will earn 8% commission during the special offer.

The commission special is available on all European bookings, for travel between February 1, 2013 until June 20, 2013.

Emirates operates 74 flights per week from Australia to Dubai and onwards to 33 European destinations.
