Emirates to put second A380 on Mauritius route
Emirates will serve Mauritius with a double daily A380 service from December 1 this year.’¨
This second A380, which will operate as flight EK 703/704, replaces the existing Boeing 777 operation and increases Emirates’ capacity on the route by 19% – or an extra 165 passengers each day.
The first daily A380 service into Mauritius was launched in December 2013.
Services between Dubai and Mauritius are operated in codeshare with Emirates’ long-time partner Air Mauritius.
The two airlines are now in discussions to increase the number of destinations covered by the codeshare agreement.
