Ensemble Travel Group appoints first CEO
Travel industry veteran David Harris has been appointed as CEO of Ensemble Travel Group.
This is a newly created position aiming to ‘bring a broader global vision to the organization,’ said Terri Jo Lennox, board chair.
Harris joins the consortia on a permanent basis after serving as chairman and vice chairman of Ensemble North America.
Harris owned and operated family business M. Ross Harris Travel Limited since 1995.
He will be based in Toronto and travel to the group’s office in New York on a regular basis.
Ensemble co-presidents Lindsay Pearlman and Libbie Rice will report to Harris.
"Our recent 50-year anniversary and our success in 2018 has given us the opportunity to reflect and to draw upon what we have learned to strategize for 2019 and beyond," Lennox added.
