Essex-based agency fails
A former Essex-based ABTA agency and Worldchoice member has failed.
Holidaysaver, based in Basildon, resigned is membership on June 21 and ceased trading yesterday as it was unable to meet its liabilities.
The company used the trading names Holidaysaver, Travel 4 Charity
& Travelsaver and also had a branch at Leigh-on-Sea, which traded as
Hallmark Travel & Hallmark Holiday Centre.
Any claims arising from this failure will be handled by CEGA, ABTA’s claims handling partner.
“ABTA understands that Holidaysavers Ltd were members of Worldchoice and were on the ACAS payment system. Any principals who dealt with this company on the ACAS payment system for any bookings should contact
Worldchoice Ltd in the first instance,” an ABTA statement said.
