Eurobound urges agents to move fast for Paris Olympic vacations

Eurobound is gearing up for a busy period during the coming summer Olympics in Paris.

The company has secured rooms at two different centrally located hotels.

One is in a charming 18th century building near the Paris Opera, featuring a rooftop garden and bar.

The other is in South Pigalle, known for its distinctly Parisian night life, bars, and food shops, says Brigitte Armand, Eurobound President.

Armand has urged travel agents to reserve rooms early, as hotel space for the Olympics period, is limited.

The Games take place beginning July 26 through August 11.

“The important thing is to book the hotel space now, and once it is confirmed, we can plan accordingly.”

Eurobound is customizing itineraries based around the Olympics for clients who have tickets to specific events and who want to extend their vacation.

One example is a 10-night France-London combination for a group of five traveling together.

The package begins and ends in Paris with an initial three nights in Paris, three nights London, two nights in Lyon and concluding with two more nights back in Paris for the Olympics.

In addition to hotels, Eurobound arrangements include private half-day tours in London, and a private Food Walking Tour of St. Germain des Pres in Paris, rail travel between destinations, and private round-trip rail-to-hotel transfers.

Another Switzerland-France 10-night package is designed for a couple who already have their own Olympics and Paris hotel reservations.

The Eurobound itinerary begins in Zurich and ends in Bayeux before heading back to Paris and the Olympics on their own.

“These are just a sample of packages we can create for clients who are visiting Paris for this summer’s Olympic Games,” said Jeff Roy, Eurobound’s VP, Sales & Marketing.

“The trick is to book early, as Europe is selling out fast.”

Now in its 26th year, Eurobound offers bespoke packages and itineraries for independent travelers and small groups to Europe and beyond.

They are sold exclusively through travel advisors.

Eurobound has been named Tour Operator of the Year three times by Atout France, the French Tourist Office.
