European expansion for lowcosttravelgroup.com
Lowcosttravelgroup.com is to roll out its dynamic packaging model to holidaymakers throughout Europe.
It will begin the roll-out is this summer, first entering the German market, before targeting Spain, Italy, Ireland and France over the subsequent 12 months.
CEO Paul Evans recruited Andrew Nicholson as European managing director to launch the strategy.
Nicholson was previously managing director of Avro and Travelocity as well as start-up business Air Tickets Direct.
Evans said: “With the company’s domestic business continuing to exceed its targets it was clear that now is the right time to export our business model into new markets and I am fully confident that this new venture will mirror the success of the lowcost brand in the UK.”
Nicholson added: “This is not a ‘pick up and drop’ operation with a translation module on it. This is a carefully planned strategy, ensuring that the right product and the right content are available to the right audience.”
