Eurostar won’t stop in Kent until 2023
High-speed rail operator Eurostar trains will not call at stations in Kent until at least 2023. It says there is still not enough demand to keep Ashford and Ebbsfleet open for Eurostar services yet, and will focus on ‘core destinations where demand is highest.’
The Kent stations have been closed to Eurostar trains since March 2020. It will review the situation at the end of 2022, Eurostar said. It means all Kent residents on Eurosstar have to start orr end their journey at St Pancras in London.
