Ex hotel boss charged in teenager’s abduction cold case
A former hotel industry executive has been arrested and charged with the decades-old abduction of a teenager.
Warren McCorriston, 62 is also a suspect in the cold case disappearances of two other teenage girls.
McCorriston is a former Daydream Island Resort manager.
The three cases date back to 1979 and 1980 when McCorriston was around 18 years old.
He is charged with the alleged abduction from Lake Macquarie, NSW.
McCorriston is also a person of interest in the disappearances of teenagers Robyn Hickie and Amanda Robinson in 1979.
Despite a $1 million reward for information, their bodies have never been found.
McCorriston remains in custody and will appear in court in March to answer charges.
