Ex-PR agency boss joins Barcelo Hotels

Richard Adler has been named as UK commercial director for Spanish-owned Barceló Hotels and Resorts.
 
Adler, who joins Barceló from the Real Hotel Company where he was sales, marketing and distribution director, was formerly managing director of travel PR agency Rooster Creative.
 
He also spent six years at Thistle Hotels and also worked for Hilton International, Leading Hotels of the World, Forte, Radisson Edwardian and Cunard hotels.
 
Adler said: “My role is to continue to build the Barceló brand into one that UK and international consumers recognise instantly and associate with excellence and value. 
 
“We have a very strong portfolio of properties around the country that offer unique venues and unrivalled facilities.”
