Ex-Sun editor to address industry show

Former Sun editor Kelvin MacKenzie is among keynote speakers confirmed for next month’s International Confex show.

He joins Hamish McRae, principal economic commentator for The Independent, and TV’s Ruby Wax in seminars to be held at the event at Earls Court in London on February 24-26.

A session by former finalists on ‘The Apprentice’ Kristina Grimes and Jennifer Celerier will also be a feature of the event. 

There will also be seminars from events industry associations Eventia, EIA, AEO, SITE, HBAA and MPI.

Event director Duncan Reid said: “In the current economic climate it has never been more important to ensure you keep ahead of the changes in the industry and be in a position to respond to them.”
