Expedia Corporate upgrades hotel booking tool

Expedia Corporate Travel is upgrading its hotel search and booking platform from mid-September.

The upgrade, to be available in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium and Italy, will allow travel managers to search, sort and book hotels faster than before, the company claims.

The new service offers better pricing abilities, interaction of results for both list and map functions and precise micro searches.

Vice president Christophe Pingard said: “This smart tool is a ticket to rapid bookings including our clients’ own negotiated rates, yet is also automatically aligned to each company’s policy, making travel managers’ lives easier.

“This is also an effective tool for improving the actual travel experience due to customizable features allowing travellers to save time and money by choosing the most appropriate hotel option.”
