Expedia reveals top long-haul destination this Christmas
The USA is the number one long-haul destination for British travellers this Christmas, according to Expedia booking data.
The second most popular festive holiday spot is Thailand while Australia finishes in third.
Those heading to the US and Australia are primarily travelling to be with family and loved ones (30% and 36% respectively), but 19% of those jetting off to Thailand will be travelling solo.
