Explore goes with a new Venture
SYDNEY – Adventure World has told agents that it will continue to service Explore Worldwide bookings made through the ADW brochures.
CEO Carl Frier said that after an extremely healthy 30-year relationship with Explore, agents needed to be aware that the current trade partner agreement with Explore for their product in the ADW white label brochures would be honoured by Explore.
Frier said that clients who wished to book Explore product through Adventure World could continue to do so.
In addition Adventure World remains the general sales agent for their New Zealand market.
He stressed there was no animosity between Adventure World and either Venture Holidays or Explore Worldwide.
Explore Worldwide has turned to Adelaide-based Venture Holidays to market its holidays in Australia.
Venture will take up the role of Australian sales representative on April 1.
Explore’s 2010 programme features more than 450 itineraries in 120 countries.
Groups average 12-16 people and are led by expert tour leaders.
The company operates in some of the world’s most remote destinations, such as the voodoo villages of Benin and Togo, the jungles of Venezuela, the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, and North Korea.
