Explore head of tailormade defects to rival
Intrepid Group has appointed Jenny Hendry to the newly-created role of product development manager as it seeks to expand its school holidays, private groups and white label business.
Hendry has previously held roles at Explore, where she was head of tailor-made for the last three years, and Chameleon Worldwide.
In her new role, she is responsible for developing The School Adventure Company (part of the Intrepid Group), private groups and white label partnerships. She is also tasked with increasing sales of Intrepid Travel’s Polar trips through the trade and direct channels.
Hendry has joined a five-strong team led by head of The School Adventure Company Antony Barton. She said: "It’s great to be joining a business with such ambitious plans for growth and I look forward to taking the schools and white-label business to the next level."
Intrepid Group managing director for the UK and Europe Michael Edwards said: "School holidays and white label partnerships are one of the fastest-growing areas of the business so it’s important that we have a highly knowledgeable and experienced team to take advantage of all opportunities. Jenny’s experience and background is a perfect fit for our plans."
