Explore the World in Comfort

Travellers will be able to explore some of the world’s most exotic locations from the comfort of two of the world’s most beautiful superliners – P&O Cruises’ Oriana and Aurora – when the sister ships set sail on their 2007 voyages around the globe.

P&O Cruises has released a new brochure featuring Oriana and Aurora’s 2007 world voyages, which offers discounts of up to 45 per cent for early bookings on a great choice of cruises between Australia and the UK, as well as the full global circuits.

Fares on the two ships start from $9941 per person* for a 40-night cruise, including the 45 per cent saving. Passengers booking one of the brochured cruises will also qualify for an onboard spending credit of up to £375 per person.

Renowned for their style and superb facilities, the two superliners offer the perfect way to see the world, without the inconvenience of air travel and the discomfort of jet lag. Replete with a range of dining rooms and cafes, swimming pools, theatres, lounges and spa sanctuaries, Oriana and Aurora are designed to pamper passengers throughout their travels.

The 76,000-ton Oriana will be the first of the two ships to depart Southampton, leaving on January 7, 2007 for a 94-night full circumnavigation of the globe.  From Southampton, Oriana’s passengers will sail through the beautiful islands of the Caribbean and enjoy the stunning scenery of Mexico’s Acapulco before heading to charming San Francisco and east to Hawaii, Fiji and New Zealand.

Meanwhile, Aurora will set sail from Southampton on January 9, 2007 for a 103-night grand voyage, absorbing some of the best destinations in South America, the Pacific, Asia, Mexico and the Caribbean.

P&O Cruises Managing Director Gavin Smith said the voyages offered one of the most magical ways to see the world.

“Passengers sailing on Oriana and Aurora will enjoy a smorgasbord of the world’s most exciting cultures and scenery from the renowned comfort of two of the world’s loveliest superliners. Who could think of a better way to travel?”
