Expotel moves HQ to Manchester
Hotel booking and business travel firm Expotel has moved to a new headquarters in Manchester.
Following the move, the company’s office in Stanmore has closed.
Expotel was acquired in a management buyout last July supported by Phoenix Equity Partners and has operating centres in Manchester, Stockport, Leeds and Glasgow.
CEO Ian Burnley said: “We planned to complete the move in the first six months following the buyout and I am delighted we have delivered on this.
“I have a lot of confidence that the new finance team in Manchester will quickly prove itself and help us implement better transaction and reporting processes for both our customers and suppliers, particularly across the UK hotel industry.”
He added: “We are moving ahead very quickly on a number of fronts and are excited at the opportunities which lie ahead of us.
“Clearly the current market environment is difficult, however we are not particularly exposed to the most challenging sectors in banking and finance, retail and the motor industries for example.”
