Extended stay hottest segment of the hotel industry
And extended stay is not only big business already in the USA. In the UK for example there are a few extended stay brands, which have been on the market for a long time. One of the oldest is Roomspace Serviced Apartments, which has been in operation since 1997. First only in London, but now with more than 400 apartments in a wide variety of locations in the UK. And from June 2007 also in Lisbon in Portugal, the first location outside the UK where corporate housing will be introduced by Roomspace Serviced Apartments.
