F1 mechanic to speak at Travel Convention
Formula One race mechanic Marc Priestley has been named by ABTA as the annual Travel Convention’s first guest speaker.
Delivering a speech titled ‘Peak Performance’ on Wednesday, October 12, Priestley will examine the communication, teamwork, pressure and strategy involved in the sport.
"Delegates will gain a unique insight into the workings of a top-flight F1 team, as well as a chance to evaluate what travel can learn about achieving peak performance and small marginal gains," said ABTA.
The Travel Convention will take place on Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island in a hotel built over the F1 race circuit from October 10 to 12.
