HAL opens sales for Pole-to-Pole Grand Voyage
Following a successful pre-booking period, Holland America Line has opened public bookings for its two newest Grand Voyages.
This includes the landmark Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole, travelling south-to-north connecting the two polar regions.
The Grand World Voyage is also open to book with both sailings departing in January 2025.
It is the first time that Holland America Line is offering two Grand Voyages of more than 120 days simultaneously.
The Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole aboard Volendam visits five continents south-to-north, while the Grand World Voyage aboard Zuiderdam covers six continents on an east-to-west route.
Both sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“Our one-of-a-kind itineraries resonate with our world voyage guests, as indicated by pre-bookings,” said Beth Bodensteiner, HAL’s CCL.
“Our team put together two amazing Grand Voyages.”
The Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole lasts 133 days calling at 68 ports and 28 countries.
Volendam spends four days cruising in Antarctica and sails north, crossing the Arctic Circle to the North Cape.
It includes a Panama Canal transit and eight overnight ports of call.
The combined Grand Voyages will feature more than 1,400 shore excursions.
On April 24, 2025, Volendam and Zuiderdam will meet in Barcelona for a joint overnight call.
