Falls Creek skis into Sydney

Debbie Howie and Ian Talbot skied into town this week, well nearly, to tell Sydney’s media all about new things at Victoria’s and one of Australia’s leading ski resorts Falls Creek.

With the Aussie ski season only just over 70 days away, Debbie and Ian reported that they are already experiencing freezing temperatures with forward forecasts looking good for this year’s snow season.

With New South Wales ski resorts in the Snowy Mountains technically closer to Sydney than the Victorian resorts, Debbie and Ian told The Mole that Falls Creek is actually much closer, only a little more three hours away, with one hours flying to Albury and two hours transfer right to the resort and no hassle with driving, making Falls Creek that perfect weekend get away ski location.

They also said that Falls Creek is very family friendly, by making all the resorts facilities available to kids and families, adding, we are also car free with heaps of activities aimed at families and kids.”  “ Your and your kids can be entertained by a Snow Dragon, ride a Kat, call a snow taxi, bounce into orbit on a Snow Bungy or take a scenic helicopter ride above Victoria’s fabulous snow capped mountains, adding,  “When snow is on the ground, we also have ski in and ski out, which is really popular.”

Falls Creek Ski Lifts is also playing its part by currently enhancing its snow producing capacity to meet guest expectations, with the snowmakers utilising water from the largest Alpine lake in Australia.
