Families just wanna have fun………..
A report in The Sydney Mornign Herald says that with school holidays on the horizon, the lure of the sun is the main factor when it comes to deciding where to go these holidays, according to Australia-wide family travel specialist Travel With Kidz.
The founder and managing director of the group, Wendy Buckley, says families with children under five head en masse to Fiji, and resorts with kids’ clubs and spas are in demand.
Thailand and Vietnam, which offer warm weather and a taste of culture, are popular with families with primary school-aged children.
Buckley says the Rugby World Cup has caused many well-heeled families to rethink their plans.
“Villas in France and Italy are incredibly popular this year with families with teenage kids.”
