Famous Scottish hotel spruces up for Ryder Cup
Gleneagles Hotel has relaunched The Club after a multi-million pound investment.
Set in 850 acres of beautiful Perthshire countryside, the refurbishment of The Club at Gleneagles coincides with the Scottish hotel’s 90th anniversary in 2014.
The refurbishment is part of an ongoing development programme for Gleneagles, hosts of the 2014 Ryder Cup in September.
The hotel has previously unveiled a series of developments including the overhaul of the Dormy Clubhouse in 2011, the installation of The Blue Bar – a new outdoor whisky and cigar bar – in the same year, and a substantial investment in its PGA Centenary Course in 2012.
In 2013, the resort refurbished 36 of its 232 rooms.
Memberships of The Club starts from £1,015 per annum.
