fastjet woos travel agents
African low cost airline, fastjet, Africa’s low cost airline, has signed two agreements giving travel agents access to their flights.
The flights are now available on Skyscanner, with visitors linked directly to fastjet’s website.
Through an agreement with Hahn Air Systems, the flights will also be available within all of the main Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport.
It is anticipated that fastjet’s flights will feature on the GDS within the next month.
Ellis Cain-Jones, fastjet’s head of commercial, said: "After the success of establishing fastjet in our local markets, we now want to export access to our affordable pan-African flights.
"Both our new partners will benefit fastjet’s drive for cost-efficient global distribution in both traditional and digital arena."
