FBI investigate cruise ship death
A FBI investigation is ongoing into a mysterious death of a cruise ship guest aboard Royal Caribbean cruise ship
A strange incident led to Michael Virgil, 35, being overpowered and detained by ship security. He later died in custody aboard the ship.
Not long after the ship left port Virgil appeared to be ‘drunk and unruly’ and reportedly attacked crew members.
Video taken of the incident showed he trying to kick in a door, behind which a crew member was hiding.
He was then overpowered by security with pepper spray and zip ties.
He later mysteriously died in detention.
His family have accused security personnel of injecting him with ‘a sedative.’
They said Virgil’s behavior leading up to his death was ‘very uncharacteristic.’
“We are saddened by the passing of one of our guests. We offered support to the family and are working with authorities on their investigation,” Royal Caribbean said in a statement.

This gentlemen could have suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm. Depending on location in the brain, an aneurysm can cause the patient to become irritable, aggressive, mood swings, and do detrimental things to the public. And, if it ruptures, it can kill the patient. In fact, season 1, episode 9 of the original CSI Las Vegas television show had this occur to a passenger on an aircraft. Where a passenger in 1st class began pounding on the cockpit door, then trying to open the exit door while in flight. He then began fighting with other passengers who were trying to subdue him.
