Felon arrested with loaded gun at Disneyland
A guest at Disneyland has been arrested for attempting to bring a loaded gun into the theme park.
Percival Aguilar Agoncillo, 44, of San Francisco was detained after being spotted with the firearm, Anaheim Police Department said.
Agoncillo was arrested on the walkway between Disneyland and California Adventure, and later released on bail of $20,000.
He also faces further charges for another unregistered gun found at his home.
A background check revealed he was on probation for a previous incident of carrying a loaded gun, and has a prior drugs conviction, police Lt. Eric Trapp said.
Trapp said Agoncillo was spotted by a plain clothes security officer but news reports claimed he had already passed through a security checkpoint.
It took place several weeks ago on July 9, fueling rumors Disney and Anaheim police were trying to suppress the news.
