Fighter jets called to couple in airline toilet
Fighter jets shadowed a flight from Denver to Detroit after a couple were thought to be ‘making out’ in the toilet on the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
An FBI spokesman said the jets were sent to the plane in an ‘abundance of caution’ according to ABC News after the two passengers were locked inside for what Frontier airlines describes as an ‘extraordinarily long time’.
Fighter jets also escorted a Los Angeles to New York American Airlines flight, after three passengers made repeated trips to the bathroom and were apparently making strange hand signals.
All passengers were released after questioning.
