Fiji begins massive clean-up
The big clean-up has begun in Fiji after devastating storms and floods claimed five lives and forced about 8000 people to seek refuge in evacuation centres.
Airlines have been flying empty planes into the country to ferry stranded visitors home.
Resorts on outer islands are still facing difficulties in returning to the main island and to Nadi airport.
The road linking Nadi International Airport and the Denarau Island resort complex is operational, however it is subject to high tides and flooding.
Domestic air services between Suva and Nadi are operating but services to the outer islands including Vanua Levu, Taveuni and Savusavu have been cancelled.
