Fiji recovery campaign enters phase two
The second phase of the multi million dollar advertising campaign to attract more Australian tourists to Fiji following the decline in visitor arrivals after the December military takeover has been launched.
A print and television advertising campaign was launched last week in New Zealand to lure New Zealanders back to Fiji, with Tourism Action Group chairman Damend Gounder saying the campaign started in the weekend and would run for two weeks.
He said it would include coverage on television stations, magazines and newspapers, along with online marketing with industry people in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The campaign promotes low-cost package holidays for island resorts, cruises and adventure and family holidays in Fiji.
