Finair 17 Nov flight cancilation
FIN-AIR
Fin-air 17 Nov 2009 flight from Manchester-Tampere was cancelled without any prior notice or any sign on screen at the airport or even a notice board.
An advanced male Manchester worker at reception desk, helped me traced this flight and who I should at list speak to for further details.
Fin-air flight details was traced for my confirmation and was transferred to another airline who could not say much but ask every queries via telephone calls to Fin-air, crazy funny.
I waited five hours at the airport and was transferred to BA flight Manchester London and London Helsinki, eventually flight landed at 23:25am and there was still no flight to Tampere, we were transported by Bus like animals and arrived Tampere at 3: am with me paying additional taxi fee to my residence, However still Fin-air misplaced my luggage in out band to Manchester with additional clothing costs and my luggage was delivered the next day night after arrival even though I was 1 of the earliest passengers to check in, mean while my journey were just a 3-4 days trip.
In all flight cost from Finland to Manchester Return was 681.07Euros, no comments or compensation or whatsoever from fin-air.
Extremely stressful inconsiderate journey.
Fin-air should be ashamed and very ashamed of themselves.
