Finnair has become the latest airline to sign a new full content distribution deal with Galileo and Worldspan parent Travelport GDS.
The agreement will provide travel agents using the GDSs worldwide with access to the airline’s entire published inventory and fares.
Finnair vice-president Tom Kallstrom said: “We are happy that we were able to conclude the agreement with Travelport GDS, which significantly strengthens our multi-channel distribution strategy.
“Finnair is committed to developing its business network and as such, this new agreement will provide this all important link to the agents.”
Travelport GDS supplier service vice-president Matthew Hall said: “This full content agreement with Finnair will provide increased functionality to the airline as well as the very best service to our agency customers.
“This is further to Travelport GDS’s strengthened position in Scandinavia where we are gaining share.”
