Best Western has announced the upcoming debut of its GLo brand in Asia.

The brand will be introduced in the region in Na Jomtien beach resort in Pattaya and is slated to open in 2019.

Developed by Habitat Group Co., Ltd, construction begins in September 2017.

"Along with its sister brand V-«b, GLo represents a new era for Best Western Hotels & Resorts in Asia," said Olivier Berrivin, Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ managing director of international operations, Asia.

"Modern, stylish and packed with state-of-the-art technology, GLo hotels will become a favourite among the millennial market."

Best Western unveiled the GLo brand in 2015 and has been created specifically for new-build hotels.

Each GLo hotel features a fitness centre, and dramatic exterior design with LED lights.

"In partnership with the Habitat Group, I am confident that GL- Na Jomtien will become an instant success. We hope that this development will pave the way for multiple new GL- hotels to rise across the region in future," Berrivin added.
