First Halal in Travel event at ITB Asia

The organizers of ITB Asia have teamed up with Halal travel service CresecentRating for its first dedicated Halal travel events at the trade show.
 
CrescentRating will host the ‘Halal In Travel – Asia Summit 2016’ conference which will include several Islamic travel workshops on 19 October 2016.
 
Panel discussions will look closely at national strategies to develop Halal tourism and the role technology can play in the segment.
 
"With the rapid growth of the Muslim travel sector, our partnership with CrescentRating is an integral addition to this year’s show. Delegates attending ITB Asia from all over the world can look forward to gaining deeper insights from the leading industry experts to help identify new business opportunities," said Katrina Leung, Executive Director of Messe Berlin (Singapore), the organiser of ITB Asia.
 
A CrescentRating report forecasts the global Halal travel market to be worth well over US$200 billion by 2020.
 
The company will also unveil a new market intelligence report in association with long term partner MasterCard.
