Just three months after closing on the property, owners of J.Wesley Vineyards opened their doors for business December 1st. Owners spent at least 6 months before closing on the property visiting other North Carolina vineyards, researching and developing partnerships to ensure their success.

Located in Linden, just 10 miles north of Fayetteville, J. Wesley Vineyards offers several venues for meetings, weddings, festivals, etc. The 6,700 square foot Southern home offers a wine tasting bar, a small dining room, a conference room, bridal suite and groomsman dressing areas. The Event Center can accommodate over 500 people for weddings, or parties, and also includes a Cave and Barrel Room for smaller events, plus a 2,350 square foot Wine Production Room. Up to 300 people can enjoy a concert around the Portico or a garden wedding at The Gazebo-On-The-Water. “We aim to be a premiere destination for special events,” says partner Miguel Figueroa..

Currently, J. Wesley is growing three different varieties of muscadines on eight acres at the main site and will soon add 18 acres at the Coats family farm five miles away. Nine varieties of wine are currently offered including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvingnon, Chardonnay, Evening Harvest, Noble Semi-Dry, Noble, Carlos, Magnolia and Winter Red.

“Its exciting to see a winery like J. Wesley Vineyards as part of our tourism portfolio,” says John Meroski, Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO. For further information visit Jwesleyvineyards.com
