Flexi Reps announces its first partnership
Flexi Reps, the new rep agency founded by Craig Davidson in August, has signed a deal to be the UK sales partner for Obeo Travel.
Obeo is a specialist destination management company featuring Iceland and Namibia.
Obeo has tasked the Flexi team with finding new trade partners in the UK as well as representing the company at UK trade shows, travel events and travel agent training.
Flexi Reps MD Craig Davidson said agreements with other companies will be announced shortly.
"Our services were initially set up to provide reps on the ground for established businesses in this market. We of course have the connections in trade distribution to help bring new products to market."
A similar partnership between Obeo and ASM Ireland has proved successful in the Irish market and Obeo hopes to replicate the successs in the UK in partnership with Flexi Reps.
Obeo Managing Director Rannveig Snorradóttir said: "Craig has a great little black book of contacts and the team at Flexi have a large network of talented reps to tap into in the regions. When the time is right, we can utilise them for agent activity.
"We look forward to forging partnerships with UK tour operators and retailers and we are delighted Craig will be managing this on our behalf."
