Flight attendant attacked with cup of hot noodles
A passenger attacked a flight attendant with a cup of hot noodles in a row over seating.
The argument broke out on the AirAsia charter flight from Bangkok to China when the woman found out she wouldn’t be sitting next to her boyfriend.
The stewardess was berated and scalded with hot water and noodles by the passenger and her boyfriend.
The flight was delayed for five hours after the pilot decided to turn around and fly back to Bangkok where he made an emergency landing.
Authorities boarded the plane on arrival and escorted the passengers off.
The couple were ordered to pay 50,000 Thai baht (approximately £970) in compensation to the injured flight attendant, reports the Daily Mail.
The woman who threw the cup of hot water and noodles was fined an additional 200 Thai baht (approximately £3.80).
