Flight attendant ‘danced naked in plane bathroom’ after popping pills
A flight attendant on a transatlantic flight from San Francisco is in hot water.
The male attendant was allegedly found dancing naked in a business class bathroom possibly high on drugs.
It happened on a BA Airbus A380 flight to London Heathrow.
He was found by colleagues after he ‘disappeared’ during a meal service.
Coworkers then buckled him into a first class seat for the remainder of the flight, according to UK news reports.
According to a source speaking to the Sun, he may have ‘popped pills when he was meant to be working. It is an extraordinary thing to do,’
“It was a long time before he was located and he was completely out of it.”
He was detained when the flight landed in London.
British Airways confirmed there was an incident on the flight.
“This is a matter for the police,” the airline said.
The Metropolitan Police said a 41-year-old man was arrested on ‘suspicion of being unfit for duty.’
“Police were called by cabin crew following the concern for welfare of a man on an inbound flight from San Francisco. The man was taken to hospital for treatment once the flight had landed.”
