flights still delayed after 12hrs

Thursday, 24 Jul, 2009 0

At 23:00 on 24th of July, flights are still severally delayed by the emergency landing at mid-day. The departure lounge is a mess of confusion with travellers sitting on the floors & whatever spot they may find.

To increase the discomfort, the aircondition seems to be working but it is not doing the job. The air is stuffy & hot which definitely hightens irritated spirits. Whilst the shops are still closing down at their regular hours, which means you can’t even pass the time shopping for sales!

This is not ideal either with the swine flu going around in London, which is obviously a hot topic between the waiting groups, especially the tourists going back home hoping not to take it as a souviner. it is understandable how the virus can spread so easily in such situations!
