Flybe brings forward launch of new flights from Doncaster
Flybe has moved forward the launch of eight new routes from Doncaster next summer to catch the start of the Easter getaway.
Its flights from the South Yorkshire airport to Alicante, Amsterdam, Berlin, Jersey, Malaga, Faro, Newquay and Paris Charles de Gaulle will now start three days earlier than originally planned, on Thursday March 24.
Flights will be operated by 118-seat Embraer 195 jet aircraft.
Steve Gill, managing director of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, said: "We are delighted that Flybe has been able to bring forward the start date of their new routes.
"Business and leisure customers from across the Sheffield City Region have welcomed these routes and the sales to date are really positive.
"By starting the services three days early we are able to meet the demand of people wanting to go away for the Easter break."
