Forget Glasto, head to Travfest this summer
The UK’s first family festival for the travel industry will take place later this summer, with proceeds going to Just a Drop.
The event will take place on Saturday September 2 at Petersfield, Hampshire for a day and evening full of family fun and entertainment with games, bands, food stalls and a late night DJ.
There will also be free camping available for festival goers who want to bring their own tent and stay overnight.
Travfest is being organised and hosted by A2B Transfers, Bedswithease, Feefo and Holiday Extras.
Events include a family zone with circus skills workshops, entertainers and face painting; a firework display; chill out bar and nightclub.
Tickets cost £20 for adults and £10 for children (12-16 years) or £50 for a family ticket for two adults and two children.
Children age 11 years and under go free.
Proceeds will go to Just a Drop.
Feefo chief commercial officer Matt Eames, said: "We are lucky enough to work in a vibrant and exciting industry, so we decided to launch the country’s first ever festival created specifically for travel industry professionals and their families.
"Travfest will embody the passion, people and fun nature of our business. There will be some great bands, DJ sets, games, bars and food for all the family to enjoy."
