Former Ernst & Young partner joins Travelzest
Travelzest has appointed Mark Molyneux as a non-executive director.
Molyneux stepped down as a managing partner at Ernst & Young and member of the four man Main Board earlier this year, having held the position since 1997.
He was jointly responsible for the day-to-day management of the accountancy and consulting firm.
At Travelzest, he will be a member of the remuneration and audit committees of Travelzest plc and holds 39,682 shares in the company.
Molyneux said: “After nearly 30 years at Ernst & Young I decided I wanted to escape the security of a large organisation and take on the challenge of building another successful career.
“During my professional life I have advised many different businesses, often in turn-around and growth situations. I now plan to become closely involved with and help a small number of companies which have the potential to be very successful.
“Travelzest is a company with tremendous potential. I have known Chris Mottershead for many years and am excited to be able to work with him in creating a new kind of travel company.”
