Forum to examine online marketing
Few travel companies know how to successfully market online despite the growing importance of the Internet, The Travel Technology Initiative has said.
To address the lack of knowledge, the TTI is to hold a forum on June 8 where experts will explore the secrets of getting the most from the web.
TTI general manager Mick Mott said: “Online marketing is now an essential part of every successful travel business but few in the industry really know how to make this work. Our experts will be giving delegates the low-down on how to make their online marketing budgets really count.”
The panel will feature Rowan Wilkinson, technical marketing analyst at web site development company Netizen, Adprecision.net commercial director Alasdair Cross and speed-trap corporate vice president operations and marketing Malcolm Duckett.
Key topics will include search engine optimisation, search engine marketing and how to convert lookers to bookers.
The forum takes place at the Business Design Centre in Islington. Further details are available at www.tti.org.
