France returns to Eurail’s Select Pass
France is to return to Eurail’s 4 country Select Pass from April 1, after a year of absence.
SNCF, the French national railway company, withdrew its participation in the Eurail Select Pass in January last year.
But now it has returned and passengers can create their own Select Pass by selecting four bordering countries from a choice of 26 including France, Spain and Italy.
The 4 country Select Pass, with France as an optional country, will replace the 3 and 5 country Select Passes which will no longer be available after March 31, 2014.
