Freudmann re-elected to ITT board
Steven Freudmann has been unanimously re-elected chairman of the Institute of Travel and Tourism at its recent board meeting.
The rest of the board has also been re-elected and are as follows: Trevor Harding, president; Bill Maxwell, treasurer; Paul Cowley, company secretary; Claire Steiner, chair training and education.
It is the 10th year that Freudmann will be chairman of the organisation and he said the re-election of the board meant it was business as usual.
At the annual general meeting, a special resolution to introduce a number of new articles was approved, which will allow the ITT to completely comply with the Companies Act. The obligation to have an AGM has also been removed.
